Hey, where are the cross-country full-suspension bikes?
Good question. Sadly, they’re aren’t many cross-country full-suspension bikes anymore. These days the vast majority of full suspension mountain bikes fall into the trail or all-mountain categories. So it’s honestly difficult to find full suspension mountain bikes that are considered cross-country bikes by either the manufacturer or the major retailers. There are always exceptions of course, and the assignment of any particular bike to any particular category can be subjective, but we feel it’s most appropriate to defer to the manufacturers and major retailers in this regard.
While the dearth of cross-country full-suspension mountain bikes in the market might be worth lamenting, it’s probably not worth dwelling on. So try as best you can to get over it and go to the pages for trail bikes or all-mountain bikes.
